Carol's classic, timeless style and expertise in kitchen, bathroom, and cabinetry design has earned the respect of many clients over the years. Her outstanding achievements have also earned numerous industry awards.
Carol received an Interior Design degree from North Dakota State University. Her experience includes doing cabinetry design since 1978 and as a designer for the Woodshop since 1993. She received her CKD in 1992 and has earned several MN NKBA awards for her designs.

Craig Hertzenberg
Craig is a great listener and communicator. These skills are necessary when designing and completing cabinetry projects.

Craig’s professional career in interior space planning and design for residences focusing on cabinetry for the entire home began in the late 1970’s and continues to this day. Throughout the 1980’s Craig served in many roles with the National Kitchen and Bath association, including 2 years as the President of the MN State Chapter.
Craig began working with The Woodshop of Avon in 1994 working with large custom home builders but soon found himself working on large townhome and condominium projects where his skills as a creative thinker and space planner have been put to good use.

Joleen Elliott
Her many repeat clients are proof that she considers customer service her top priority.

Joleen Elliott joins The Woodshop of Avon with 30 years experience designing classic custom spaces. She is well versed in space planning for new construction and remodeling projects.
Since her background includes both retail sales and design studio work, her knowledge of products and brands is thorough. Joleen also keeps current through continuing education courses.

Leah Hoffarth
Leah believes that good design comes from the ability to reflect the clients’ personality.
She works side by side with the homeowners to incorporate their needs into the design while bringing to the table innovative and exciting ideas.

Leah is a natural people person with a flair for design. Her interior design background enables her to give the clients an overall picture of their project and works with them to make their ideas come to life.
Leah has worked as a designer for The Woodshop of Avon since 1998 and always approaches each project with fresh enthusiasm.

Kari Hiltner, CKD
Kari has the ability to assess clients’ challenges needs and desires in order to create distinctive spaces that are both aesthetically and functionally pleasing.

She currently serves as our showroom manager as well as business and media contact. Her responsibilities include creating and maintaining a visually appealing space for Woodshop clientele and ensuring that their experience with The Woodshop of Avon exceeds their expectations. Kari also coordinates a team to develop and update sales collateral. She is responsible for sourcing and updating all design materials and vendors.
Kari received a Bachelors Degree in Architecture & Interior Design from the University of Minnesota. Her experience includes working as a designer for The Woodshop of Avon since 2000. She received her CKD in 2006 and has earned several MN NKBA awards for her designs.
